Wait...Taurus like the really crappy Ford that all of my friends in high school drove? How in the hell did someone figure out that the sideskirts off that POS fit their E30? Did someone just have a dream one night, wake up and exclaim "EUREKA!" and slap them on their car? I don't understand...sigpicComment

Man, those do look great.
I keep looking at the same era Explorer skirts, the ones on the "Sport" model 2 door POS. The little flare at the end would look great on an E30...but I haven't even measured the length yet.
Way back in the 80's, my brother and me (he was and is a professional bodyman) built some goofy looking crap. We did front, rear and side skirts from an mid 80's mustang on a "1st gen" Accord hatch...it was hilarious!
Now all you need is a similar look in rear valence...gotta be a plastic bumper somewhere you can rape! I wonder how the Z24 Cavalier rear skirt would look...

Well, that settles it. Looks like I'm going to the junkyard this weekend!
Could you fill us in on how/where you trimmed them, and how you mounted them? BTW, for your DIY thing, email that to me at eurospeed88@gmail.com, and I'll see what I can do about getting it ready and posted.Comment

I think they look great. I wasn't into side skirts but these are so subtle... I may do it.
Please give us the COMPLETE story. How did you think up doing this? How did you install them? Etc.
I think there is some wierd cosmic connection between Ford's and E30's. The Mustang Koni rear adjusts are the ones for the E30, and other things. I kinda think of a E30 as germanys bad ass Muscle car/mustang. Every now and then these similarities pop up... OK, I'll put the bong down.Comment

I subbmitted a post for the DIY, and a few posts up I have a link to the post on e30tech.
