Plasti-dipping is sparying something weith Plasti-dip. Plasti-dip is a spray that coats with this hard rubbery coating...the stuff comes out like spray paint, and dries hard...essentially stone chip proof. It leaves a flat, mat look on whatever it is sprayed onto. Its great for grilles and stuff like that...even mirrors. It's what I had lyong around so I sprayed the grilles with it.

          need opinions here...
I'm just about done accumulating parts to change the timing belt, pulley and water pump (while I'm in there).
          -timing belt
          -Z127 pulley
          -waterpump w/ gasket
          -camshaft oil seal

any last words of advice before I jump in?

yea, if its your first belt then take your time... also when you tension the belt make a full rotation and make sure your still TDC

Can anyone enlighten me on the location of the pivot bolts for the Power steering pump? If it is the 2 separate bolts ALL the way on the bottom, how the hell do you get to the one close to the oil pan??

if not....where the heck is it?!?!

What did you use to clean the seats and carpet?

                  Looks great by the way.

Got some updates as the entire project continues.
At the moment I am going through the timing belt and still working on it. I know it has been a while, but I like to take my time...put all the hardware in zip-locks with tags, etc, etc.

Everything is off the front portion of the head and block, the cam shaft seal has been replaced as well as the thermostat (since it was easy and right there). All I am waiting on are the crankshaft seal, the intermediate shaft seal and the gasket for the plate that carries those 2 seals. It seems that the right way to do it should be to replace all the seals when the timing belt is done...I had quite a little pool of oil on the lower timing belt cover/protector from the seal being worn.

Today I went to the bicycle shop where I used to work to use the parts washer bin. Ran some degreaser on all of the parts that were removed so they go back on clean.

Here are some pics for entertainment:
