    three-wheelin' ix (now with video)

yes, more autox pics - but I think my driving must be improving, cause I've never done this before:

    but I've been close:

I have videos on youtube but it's too blurry to really see much - anyone have a suggestion for a higher quality video site?

oh, I'm pretty sure I sealed up the overall season for SM - but now that the slush is over, the big boys will come out and I'll go back to placing 10th again. :p

yeah, this was the even that I decided I *really* need new seats. it doesn't do any good to have my belt tight if the seat is flopping around. anyone have some SRD's they wanna sell cheap? :p

I don't know anything about ixs - but can't it grenade the transfer case when that front wheel hits the ground again?

                      ;)

it's fine - I'm sure it takes way more abuse from my launches, anyway. I've never actually seen or heard of a t-case grenading (lots of internet hearsay though). Mine has about ~250k on it and I'm not really worried - I have an extra one and lots of spare parts for it anyway.

did I mention I accidentally hit 7150rpm somewhere along the way?

p.s. megasquirt is unreliable and you shouldn't build an M20 for any reason

Yeah - i think it's both wheels coming off the ground that will blow it all up. Either way - nice cars and nice shots.

Looks like lots of fun, you going to try to make the Bremerton track day end of the month?

The old Jetta GLi and GTI seats work great in an e30, could probably help you make some brackets to fit them also.

Looks awesome. Your drivers door color looks off. Did you respray that?

no, that's going to have to wait for summer - but I will. I still haven't fixed my coolant leak either. :p

how much do those seats weigh? part of the attraction to something like the SRD is reduced weight. plus the SO hates my seats anyway!
