Always been here Danny, just not updating this thread. I couldn't leave you, no homo.

I found a place to weld the crack in the wheel for 70$. I got the rings out of the center of the wheel so they can be bored out to the proper size.

Looks like honey dijon. That sucks man. I hate it when my oil and antifreeze gets together.

Well, got lots of work done tonight. Monday I cleaned the garage and put the car in and took the hood off.

Then tonight it went to this

                    Then this...

                    To this...

I actually broke the timing chain guide in this picture, it was worn so it needed to be replaced anyways

Then after a lot of fucking around, and finding the mystery bolt in what looked like an oil journal the head came off. And I didn't expect it to weigh what it did. I almost killed myself getting it out. Between not fucking up a valve and getting it off exhaust I probably took 10 years off the life of my back.

Cylinder walls have cross hatching on them, one has a tiny tiny score which is barely noticeable.

                    Dirty Dirty head

Cam's have no scoring. Debating doing a hot cam setup if I can figure out how to set it up at TDC.

Now I know what parts I need to order, still debating on the ARP studs, but stock head gasket and valve seals for sure. You can see a bit of oil residue on the intake valves and quite a bit on the exhaust.

So I just disassembled the head and called a local shop that builds engines for Legendary Motor Cars. Told him about the dual intake cam setup and he said quote "That is the dumbest idea I have ever heard."

I don't know if I want to do this dual intake cam schnanigans or if I'll even gain much if I do. I was looking at ARP studs, but I was also thinking I could get stock head bolts and then do underdrive pullies instead and actually put something on that has a gain.

The head is now at the mahcine shop. I disassembled it the other day and sent it there without cam.

                        So they're all layed out.

                        And got some parts in

And I got a new o2 sensor to replace my dodge intrepid one that's ghetto'd in pretty far down stream. This time I'm putting it in the header where it should be.

So my sunroof didn't work before and I didn't know why.

                          Maybe this?

So I got all the electric sunroof shit thinking it would all bolt in to the crank sunroof stuff. It kinda did after wrestling with it for 3 hours. I need to drop the motor on it again, it's off by a couple teeth.

The head isn't back from the shop yet, maybe soon. Still waiting on wheel spacers.

I replied "Yea I know its a piece of shit give me a break." she then replies "Well i've seen you around here a couple times and i've been meaning to talk to you, I lost my license a couple months ago and I have the same car as you, its a 2 door and I was wondering if you wanted to buy it for parts" I said. "How much" she says "300$" I was like alright this chicks car is a piece of shit or she's crazy. She lived across the street and drives it over to show me.
She pulled up in a Brillanrot 318is with MINT!! interior.. Only downside is the passenger door has been hit, but thats no biggy. So I rush to the bank grab 300 cash write up a bill of sale and get the ownership..

I present to you.. The 300-318!

It has the spare on it right now, but its on basket weaves, I have all 4, the back left is just in the trunk.

Theres a spot of rust underneath the right tail light, just surface.

                            The bad side

                            Mint interior!

Weak ass M42 but runs like a champ!

                            The bads:
                            Dented passenger door
                            SI board needs new batteries
Central locking is fucked only works from the trunk (go figure)
Needs new brake rotors and pads
                            Small spots of rust
Missing the front lower part (Lip i think) of the bumper.
                            The good:
                            IT WAS 300$
                            The diff works perfect
                            interior is mint!
                            Runs like a champ
                            Mint underbody
It's a florida car (I live in Ontario Canada so thats amazing!)

                            The plans:
M50 swap (Or something of the sort)
I basically want to make it a track day car.

I'm going to give it a bath tomorrow, i'll keep you updated.
                            I believe I won :)

                                Done!

ARP studs, 19lbs injectors. Wheels and spacers, I dropped it more in the front after this picture. Cut out a full dead coil, it dropped it a half inch. Look a lot better.

I have a weird problem with the power steering fluid getting really really hot, I think one of the lines is kinked. I'm going to pull it off tomorrow. Then I just need to put in a E-fan and get new front brake calipers.
