nope - local guy, eric (or ernie). I've got a bunch of stuff I want done now that I've seen how good his work is! he also makes turbo manifolds for neons - super high quality stuff. I want some custom long tubes for my car, but I don't think I can afford him :p

just fine, honestly it seems smoother less harsh over sharp bumps. I think my car was way under sprung with the H&Rs. The GF/wife didn't even notice any difference, and she already hates my car!

EDIT: Oh yeah did you get them adj sway links in yet?
I've had adjustable front links for over 2 years now ;)

actually, I have the front swaybar disconnected - I chose the rates with the intention of using a stock front bar, and 19mm rear, so for now I'm running the stock rear only. I'm having the subframe welded and sway tabs reinforced in 2 weeks, and after that it's just a matter of picking up the right rear sway. Most likely I'll end up with an IE 19mm..

thanks for all the compliments - now we'll see if she drives as good as she looks tomorrow, autox on new suspension in the rain (my forte). :D

You just keep sorting this car out further. I wonder if I should skip the Koni's with H&R's and just do coilovers.

lets put it this way - I can raise my car up to stock height if I wish. can't do that with H&Rs. ;)

I told you should have went with 5in rear springs sucka! Looks like you need to cut down or remove that front bump stop, that looks like you are really limiting travel there.

very nice, is it ok for the cv joints to run the car low? I've heard "stuff" in the past about lowering ix's. Looks great, yet another dream project for my iX.

looks kinda about time for some shortened front struts though?

I cant wait to get my links on. Im gunna have 625 front and 750 rear. My car im guessing weighs more than yours so maybe it evens out. Right now my front sway is choped in half lol. Im gunna try to get my stuff on this week or so now that school is out. What rear shocks do you have? the koni's thats adj from top or the ones your set when installed.?

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

that's how E30 suspension works, the wheel rate in the back is different from the front, so you need stiffer rates.

no point to shortening them - I looked into this as well. ix front struts are about as short as they come. unless you can have something custom made from koni, I don't think it's happening. it kinda sucks for susp. travel, but it's not that bad.

if he does that then he will blow his struts, to get more travel with it spun all the way down like it is he needs to shorten the struts.

PS it's an IX and you can't shorten the struts.
