Is it like the bumper bolts? Those are Torx bolts, that might be what the starter is mounted with too. Those are star patterned... so that's what I'm thinking...

I got the starter out today and replaced it with one I got from Strictly German and to my surprise, the car actually started!! It took a couple of tries to build up some fuel pressure because the car has been sitting for a year but it did crank up. I have to keep the throttle open a little or it will go dead. Does anyone know what that could be or do I just need to drive it for a little while since the engine has been hibernating.
Since the car runs I am thinking of cleaning it up and selling it as a full car. Parting out a car is just too much trouble for me right now. Removing, packaging, going to the post office daily, blah, I have too much homework. The car needs a valance, light switch, rewiring of the headlights, extreme detailing, and some other small things, but if I put a little money into it I might be able to sell for like $1500 - $2000.sigpicComment
