im running 235/40/17 on my forged Msystems with stock fenders and i got them to stop rubbing. i think if you run that size the flares will be filled out better.

4lbs difference in the rims then.. Quite a bit! Didn't realise the covers weighed so much.. Might have to remove mine

I bought them from edge racing in the states. I think you can get them at discount tire as well. I don't know anybody in europe who stocks them though.

I was thinking black centers for the actual wheel just like stock, i think that would look pretty cool.

i believe the color is extreme green! We have a set of weaves painted that color on a black e30

i like it better knowing you have a real motor in it. id run it without flares and without turbine covers

and I'm a bit commited to the flares after Mr grinder met my rear quarter pannel.

IMO, I'd rock the forged M-System's with the green caps. It sounds like they clear the caliper alright, and they add the perfect amount of shock value to the car. I'd give a nut for some shots of that thing tearing it up on the Nurburgring.

Euro S50B30, right? ~286 bhp? Sounds like fun.

sure they clear the calipers... with 25mm of spacers!

I can't wait to put this thing on the ring! I was there in the GTi on sunday and there were 2 E30's from the netherlands that i wanted to play with, but i just couldn't keep up. Those guys were fast!

Don't worry, the wood screws aren't going to stay there for long, It's all i had at 3am. I have since ordered some "rivnuts" so i can easily remove the rear fenders to actually open my back doors again!

I'm going to need bigger rubber as i don't want to run 215's on 9 inch rears, and i want the same size tire all around

I hope you put some bigger tire on with the turbo flares, other wise your wheels look puny. :|

the tire size is bugging me too, but i bought the tires before i bought the brakes, and the brakes need lots of space. which to choose right?

I'm rebuilding my BBS modular race wheels to fill the arches, with rubber to match, but that probably won't be till next winter.

Nevertheless, I love the green naked M systems, and your car pulls off the black flares pretty well. Flares are really growing on me, but I don't like them on 2 doors as much as I do on 4 doors. :(

P.S paint your rockers black, it'll look better with the flares.

I thought about that when i took the front wheel off yesterday and those little green monsters were sitting under the car. I hope they turn out to be as good as everybody says they are.

You are correct. TDE30 is not. Rears are backwards.

oops! I put the rear right together first, then actually put some time into putting the front right on. I think i'm going to paint the centers of the wheels black, so they'll all come off again and then be put back together correctly.

Just did a little photoshopping. I never really try to change colors, so i think it sucked. how do you pro's chance colors?

anyways I think i did a pretty good job w/ the black rockers. but then i copied the whole RAW image and pasted it onto the background/border that i have in all my pictures. Well that's JPEG and for some reason the whole image got lighter/greyer and just looked crappy. bummer.



and here's one with black centers. this time i saved the RAW as a JPEG, then copied it over to the JPEG background. Seames to not get the greyesh look. Photobucket doesn't help either...

my car was $350, it has about 8-9k in it, but its as much fun as a russian prostitute on heroin, crack and cocaine at the same time! hell i'm running PBIR in two weeks.
