        Some how I missed this thread....looks like a really solid car and fun project. Good plan on pulling the M30 and going M20. Unfortunately I don't have any parts for you but I assume you have reached out to AWDBOB?

                I am currently overwhelmed by the current price of parts. I got a really good deal on a trashed set of sport seats. But when I took them to the upholsterer that I have used several times before, he quoted me a price ot $3000 to redo them!

                Currently looking at other upholstery options.

                    *Cough* $3000 *Cough*. Wow.

                    The cost of parts has been increasing as good parts become harder to find and the cars become more valuable. Good and bad to all of that....

                        And this was from the guy that has done work for me on two other projects. His prices seem to have gone up a bit.

                            What was the last price, and when? Were the specs pretty much identical between projects?

                                I just had discussions with another local Upholstery shop. We explore a variety of seat configurations (i.e. vinyl., MRain, leather, etc.) and prices. His prices were $500-$750 cheaper than my previous upholsterer.

                                I left the seats with my new guy to begin working.
