Yeah, leave the wrap/sticker stuff to someone who does it every single day.
Meanwhile my 100 series still has some leftover wrap and glue, but it's october and I don't wash it since it lives in the sun and well, looks just bad, so it's a zombie apocolyse theme again for the 3rd year in a row.
Someday I'll pay someone to remove it all (my attempt on a hot summer day did not get good results, I got like 80% of it, but I never want a wrapped car again. Also, a garage big enough to keep literally every project from cooking in the sun. Annnyways.
Running E30s are super cool and fun, what's next for this thing?Comment

I realllllyyyyyy wanna give you a hard time about the lack of progress on your projects, but I wont.
As for whats next on the E30?... Well, speaking of projects I have 1.5 others (more depending on who you ask) so the goal for this is to just drive and enjoy. I should wash it too, since it hasnt had one in ~2 months...
'm actually letting my buddy borrow the car to on a rally because HIS Dinan Z3 (yes, the one I accidently bought a few years ago) just roasted its clutch so he needed a car. The car will be sitting anyways and I trust him so he's going to get to enjoy it. I will share the pics he sends me.

Haha, surprise surprise other priorities are taking my time as usual. I'm going to have something more done by the end of the year. I've turned a wrench or two on it, but I'll only post or talk about it once I have a big bulk of something to share.
That's really solid of a bro move letting him enjoy this thing.

Wanting to make sure nothing funny had happened while I got home and parked it (put away 'wet') I took it to work... couldnt help but take this pic

Here she is ready to go for the next day

and sun rise !

Here was when he took a break and described it as a little bulldog haha

I think she may have scared him, OR didnt want me to share her because she gave him some trouble. He actually returned it a little earlier than expected haha... Somehow he lost the oil filler cap, but (fun fact) the fuel filler cap fits on there, but gets hot because its metal... the gas station provided him with a thread on fuel filler cap as a temp solution.
For now, the car is about to click over to 171k so even though its only been ~3 months its had about 3000 HARD miles, so Im going to change the oil... and yes, a new oil filler cap is coming. I bought the square E36 version as I like the way they look on the M20 valve coverSimon

How do you lose an oil filler cap? Doesn’t everyone just place it upside down right next to the fill hole, dump in oil, then put it right back on? That’s an odd one.89' Build

I'm glad you got that sorted out. I was about to pour gas into the valve cover.😂 1😘 1Comment

Oil Change done at 171k about 2500 miles since the swap.

lol thanks. The Turtle is a good representation of my disorder. The one and only 'fancy' watch I have owned for 5+ years. In that time I've owned about 10 different cars. If only I could just find ONE car to keep... can you imagine?!...

bro, since you brought it up...
that was the intake setup to get me going 2500 miles ago, function > form.
good news is that I have had a plan to improve it, both in form and function.
heres what Im dealing with. useless maf which is effectively an adapter for the larger cone filter.

plan is to get the intake down in front of the scoop, and I will need a different filter, might get a similar one. might a ram-air branded one. not sure yet

I don't know jack about watches, but that one looks nice and looks like you actually wear it. Opposed to those dudes who buy and flip them or whatever BS. Hate that crap.
Also, speaking of intake... I was thinking of getting rid of my hot air intake and buying a castro intake, but can't bring myself to pull the trigger. I do have the highbeam delete tube still... so i could just go back to that. But i kinda like having both head lights, as I want to get back to dallying this thing soon.
Maybe I'll have ask the wife to get me the castro air box it for Christmas
