205/50R15 on 15x8. No rubbing at all, though I did do a little clearancing in the front wheel wells (frame rails) since my struts are shortened and allow the suspension to compress another 30mm or so without bottoming out.

I'm picky, $500 wouldn't buy a paintjob I'd want. On the other hand, $70 got me a dent free cirrus hood, trunk, fenders and body painted mirrors :)

$500 could go towards more important things like a roll bar and harnesses.

OP needs a bare-metal engine-out color change refinish, starting with epoxy primer to Glasurit BC/CC refinish with 5 layers of clear and a full wetsand and polish to Bronzitbeige.
