The replacement motor is on the stand now. Doing the timing belt, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, and oil pan gasket.

Some of the parts. You can see the nastiness under the valve cover.

Head was taken off the bunk motor today

How it sits now. Should have the block and tranny out by tomorrow afternoon.

Havent posted in here for a while so here is a summary of what has happend

1: Finished motor and started driving the car
2: Noticed the car was DOG ASS SLOW and wasent running all that well
3: Saw a small amount of mixed coolent and oil on the dipstick and thought it was just residue from inside the motor
4: Car had no heat and started using alot of coolent.
5: Found that now all the oil was a cream color
6: Realized that it was the block that was cracked and thats why it has no power.

Luckily for me i have an extra motor from JJE30s swap car that i will have to swap in over the next week. Started last night and this is the situation for now.

Got the head back on after replacing the gasket. Pretty much just belts and hoses now.

Cupholders arrived so i was able to put most of the interior back togather.

Teaser for something fun i may do soon.

Hoping to have it running in the next 5 days as the 15th of october was my original deadline for having this running. Wish me luck!

Jeff: This is probably the last part im going to do. In jest?

Edward: Its pretty much done now. I just need an ebrake boot, center console, and gadgetguy cup holders.

The plaid seems a bit much....Maybe when the interior is closer to getting done it might look better....
