Headlights came today. I promptly took them apart and put all the adjusters in a vinegar bath. One if the lowbeams was broken so i prepared a replacement.

Trunk tar is all done. Hoping to start some of the welding/rust work tomorrow with the help of my dad.

I have just been chipping away at it a little each day. The first layer came out in just a few parts but the second layer is no fun at all.

craziest amount of tool ive seen removing trunk tar... use a heat gun and peal it off nice and easy. that just looks painful.

The GF made a plaid shift boot for me. Turned out rather nice.

Discovered a fair amont of rust out in the passengers side tail light region today so hopefully that will get addressed in the next few days when the rain quits :(

i didnt see the plaid coming josh, thats pretty sick actually. should get crazy with it and do the centers on your doors. are you planning on painting your seats a different color or leaving it blue? did you glue the rear deck or is it just sitting on there?

Thanks dude. The door centers may be a little more challenging but i may pick up an extra set of door cards and see what i can do. I might try to dye the rear seat but im not too familiar with that stuff. The plaid on the rear deck has been glued on there as well. Right on top of the carpet so it feels soft to the touch.
