Wow I think the SE30 guys here in NASA Southeast would freak out if they saw that oil pan or found out about the clutch.. Not saying that they are outside of the rules (I think the clutch is free anyway), but the guys here are really big on OEM components and appearance.

        Excellent car!

Well, that's a good move. I've got a co-worker that runs Spec-E30 in Southeast and Mid-Atlantic so I'll have to mention that to him.. Looks like an awesome piece. It'd be nice to get rid of the hard cornering oil starvation issues as well.. ha.

what's your co-worker's name? the pan is a very nice piece. the drivegear guys have data comparing this pan to a crank scraper and this works much better.

Ok, time for everything to come together now. Next two weeks should be eventful.

POR-15'd the diff, subframe, TA's, etc.

                New Cover installed

Cleaned and balanced stock injectors came back today

Trans was dirty, Levent multi-tasked and got her clean.

Laid out and semi put back together.

Will be back in a day or two:)

That is one hell of a cage!

hard to tell in your picture, are the trailing arms fitted with adjustable mounts? (im don't know much about spec e30 rules, but in pro3 it is legal to have adjustable rear toe and camber)

we're using the IE slotted brackets to adjust the camber/toe in the rear. they are legal as of 2010 rules in Spec E30.

OK, started tearing down the shell of the rear end. Wanted to reuse all the existing e-brake hardware, but as usual, is was all jacked up.

Rust dissolved it, but was only able to salvage the brackets and adjusters. The spring were too rusty.

                                New springs and shoes.

Yes, not too much progress, but we're chipping away at it. I should be able to devote the whole day tomorrow on this car.
