Getting to the OF w/ my headers is a royal PITA...I had heard about the rotation trick years ago ...and forgot about it!

awsome build.
might i ask what size that tubing is on the roll cage? ive been curious so i know what to buy when it comes time to cage my cabby. (having an M50 and no roof scares me!) also what is the stock m20 pan made of? i assume alum? i thought it was cast and really hard to weld to, apparently im wrong :) nice ass build though, needless to say im subscribed.Live Fast. Rounding the bend here.
I got a coat of POR15 on all the spots that were ground down, and any other areas that rust had started to creep. Keep in mind, we are only trying to keep the rust from coming back, not make a pretty engine bay. If we had, i obviously would have spent more time on it with filler, primer, sanding, etc.
Called up NAPA and had a few cans of Brilliant Red make up.
After the first coat
And now how it sits. Again, not perfect, but a nice uniform improvement from before.
All the wiring ditched
Whats left
Last shot of the rear, all buttoned up now.
Cleaned the heatshield up while waiting for paint to dry. Just scrubbed the center aluminum piece, and threw a coat of heatresistant silver on the rear steel piece
and lastly, mounted the spal to the radiator.

Kish - OMG That thing is beautiful!
I found out my S14 is going to need a rebuild so that car is going to have to go on hold for a while.
Looks like that poor Red 91 318is that has been sitting in my driveway needs to finally get some love. I really need to check GP out! Super impressed with the work.Comment

When flipping the housing around, am I correct to assume the lines need to be flipped so they are in the same holes they were originally in? Or does this matter?Comment
