Ughh, rear brake lines gave me a hard time last night. Fittings on the two inner lines were rusted way too bad. Going to replace the splitter and the hard lines.

Anyways, some pics of the underside. We may do something about this cosmetically, but will do for now.

First got a coat of por15 on any areas with rust, or any hints of rust

              Inside the tubs too

And after to coats of undercoating (truck bedliner, so same thing, more or less)

Today; transmission seals, mount to engine and start assembling the motor's exterior.

So, got the new lines to replace the rusted out rears. Unfortunately, they come straight, so i had to do some bending.

I am about to embark on that activity. Looks like fun.

I just did it on my MJ, but the flares were simple to do on that vehicle.

You won't have to flare them as they come the correct length, fittings attached. Just bending.

Using the one off the car as a template helps to get you started around the hub, but from there, I found it best to just do it by eye.

                      Some more progress pics tonight.

Finished the rear lines and installed the SS lines as well. Rear end is done now, just waiting on the two short lines that go on the chassis before we bolt this thing up.

                          Rear Sway is in

                          Rear shocks put together

                          Front end is stripped

                          Almost done here....

FredK was kind enough to ship this out. Airbox bracket for and M20/S14 as the M42 wouldn't have worked.

Tomorrow, i'll be finishing the assembly on the motor and front, and HOPEFULLY the weather will clear up enough so i can roll this out and clean/paint under the front half of the car.

                          I'm off to bed
