The bentley states that you should not rotate your tires on an e30.

"Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed."

I recommend getting a 5 speed. I wouldn't be able to say...I 5 speed swapped then lsd swapped...not other way around or I'd know first hand...it probably is too high on the freeway for the eta...i'm revving at 3k at like 73 mph in 5th. But mines no longer and eta.

And just got done washing/polishing my car. I can throw out my mirrors now and just use my car :)

So...then you just gotta keep buying new rear tires? The rear camber is way more than the front...my rear tires burn from the innerside to the outside...if that makes sense.

Get your tires balanced?... Youd feel an out of balance tire more up front then you would in the rear.

i'd paint the calipers black. that way it looks clean. red calipers (that arent bbk) look a bit ricey.

                    black/silver calipers look really nice.

you can't see black tho. I could always change...i have tons of spray paint for some reason lol. Right now theyre white. for some odd reason i thought it would look good.

                          so...

the thread title is "my super eta" but... ah.. its not an eta. unless im mistaken.

                          2 things:
                          1. dash goes to 6.5k redline. seta had a 5.5k redline. eta had a 4.5k redline
                          2. your idle control valve (icv) is on the intake side of the engine. etas have the icv on the exhaust side of the engine.

so whats going on here? you must have swapped engines.

Definitely a Super Eta car. In the older pictures you can see the 6k tach and Eta intake manifold.

Super Eta cars had the same ICV (and wiring) as the i cars.

Make sure to spray some automotive clear over the entire tail light. If you don't the red paint on the tails will fade and then you will have glossy tails in all places except he turn signals.

Looks like a good and fun e30 project. Sounds nice too!

No engine swap...super eta's are close to an i. My car isn't technically a eta anymore...so i guess your right.

I have some clear coat, but i never put it on cuz i thought it matched perfectly and wasn't necessary...never thought about it fading. Thanks for the tip.

P.S. Got a clutch stop today...best 9$ i ever spent. Makes the world of difference in shifting.
