We mounted the radiator last night, and pulled the wiring harness to wrap it.

Had to cut the oem radiator mounts off to make the Mishimoto clear. This radiator could not be a better fit. It fits perfectly between the frame rails, and sets down on to the little lip in the first pic.

Im gonna run a pusher fan setup, so no need for the LS2 water pump or CTSv tensioner.

Stock rear end has held up so far on my swap and a couple others I try to keep tabs on. Swapping to something else would require quite a bit of surgery, trumping the difficulty level of the motor swap for sure. If you haven't seen it yet, search for Multiplex's C4 Corvette Dana 44/IRS swap. Beautiful job but a hell of a lot of work!

edit: Blip, you have that beast on the road yet??? :)

Im glad you've done some testing. Cant believe you can stick with that rear end. GOOD SHIT! Perhaps the chassis weight?? Ill be making sure you get away with it again before I go ahead and run your setup. I already have a 12 bolt chevy sitting around(id love to keep it that way..LOL)

What gears you gonna run?? 2.??..... id be interested to know.

Add a Nissan R200 diff and driveshafts, then get the shafts resplined to suit the BMW hubs. With the M-coupe bracing in the trailing arm frame, good bushes and stronger welds for the trailing arm mounts you should be thoroughly engineered.

Leave the Chev 12-bolt for the guys afraid of corners

Yessir. Keeping this rearend for now. There are alot of people putting alot of power down through stock rear. (Newman, iflytii, etc)

I have yet to figure out my intake setup. Prob just a 3.5" 90 degree bend into a cone behind one of the headlights.

That sounds like a sick setup. Is that what your planning for yours?

Im building this car for the road racing, so yeah, no straight axle for me either!

Yessum. I posted some info in my build thread, around page 6 or 7. Getting the angles right and finding a driveshaft shop to fit the BMW outers on the Nissan shafts should be the hardest part of fitting it all.

I've also considered going REALLY silly and fitting an R32 GT-R rear cradle (with HICAS locked out) as I want to treat my car like a red-headed step-child.

Been a little absent from the forums lately, so when I found this thread it put a huge smile on my face. Surprised my dad hasn't commented yet. Fantastic work guys. Top notch. The 3.72 diff will be a lot of fun (ours is 2.92).
