Received some parts, have not done anything i the garage though. The Norwegian DMV was ans inspected the car last week, and they was happy with how I wanted to do the different things.

At this point I'm still making plans, budget and buying parts that is needed.

What I have bought now is JUN oilpump, JUN baffle kit and Nissan N1 waterpump. I have also ordered the pedal box bracket from Garagistic.

Alrigt, the motor is now in posistion and is resting on some stands.

I want this engine to sit as far back as possible, so that left me no other option than to cut some out of the stock oilpan. This gave me about 5cm. So now I think I can fit a Skyline radiator where the radiator is supposed to be, and not on front of the front secton.

The steering colomn does hit something here. I had to remove the rear turbo elbow and one water pipe.

Here you can see that the oilpan is pretty much paralell with the crossmember, and does not sit any low eather. Very good.

Another great thing I noticed here is that this engine is much lower than the S50. You can't even see it when you are aiming across the engine bay, which equals lower centre of gravity.

When I placed the eninge so far back, the shifter does not hit the hole in the coupe. This is not a big problem, and the solution is already done in my head. It involves a small bit of cutting.

Coolant pipes need a bit of work. Also hope I can cut and weld a small pocket in the rocker cover to get a better fit.

And here is the overview. Because of the clearance under the turbos and exhaust I have decided to go for top mounted twins, and see of that will give me a better solution. It is possible to use low mount, but then I will need to use a pedalbox and I want to avoid that. Top mounted turbos looks pretty good as well.

Got some stuff done today. Did cut of the diff housing and the driveshaft flange with a grinder, so it is ready to go to the machine shop to get it flatened out.

    Spare parts

So afeter that was done, I continued to get things tidy. Took all the tools down from the board and cleaned them. Also gave the board a wipe or five. I know it is not the most fancy garage, but I get shit done here and have the space I need.

Bolts and nuts that I remove frome the engine is sorted here, in marked bags.

Random E30M3 parts in this shelf

Random engine and engine bay parts

My two exhaust systems is placed under the car for now, probably going to use the 3" version on this build. Just need to do some testing on different setups I guess.

My BBS RC090 (Style5's) that is up for sale

    Random rear coilover shot

    Cheers

I will know this for sure when I put the car on the scale, since I have the prevous numbers. When I approved the car with S50 I had full interior, but now I have only the Pole Positions. I lost 60kg from the total weight when I did that interior thing. So I hope she will be light enough on the front axle to get it approved and road legal.
RB26DETT with all accessories + fluids
with trans is about ~ 320+kg
You should weigh it for future reference :)

Don't want it, since the 26 oil pan is better. So I take the time to modify it.
