this is really awesome man. your attention to detail is impressive.

that welder is cool too. are you using something else to weld the aluminum parts?

If you have a tig welder, why not make a stainless exhaust?

Yes, I used a TIG for the aluminium.

I do not have a TIG. But it would not matter, since I do not want stainless exhaust. BUT, if the mild steel do not make the sound I'm after, I will go stainless.

Another reason is that one 90 degree 3" stainless cost the same as all the parts I did buy for this downpipe. Now I have buildt the prototype, so going for another material exhaust will be more easy.

I got some things done with the car this weekend. Not that everything can be seen on photos. I removed the engine to put on the remaining parts in the oilpan. And sealed it for this time.

As usual, I start off with a coffee break!

The air filter I will be using.

And the filters for the catch can

Got some silicone radiator hoses for R32GTR, but I do not think they will fit.

Oil drain for the back of the cylinderhead arrived

And some fittings. AN10 and AN12.

                  Fitted the head drain

Welded myself an AN10 for crankcase ventilation where the drain for the rear turbo was before.

Got the ATI Superdamper torqued to spec and the waterpump pulley. As well as the complete TBS and intake bolted up with gaskets.

                  Flywheel and clutch mounted.

And that leves this for the next time I'm traveling to work on the car.

Some of the mushroom filters are known to suck in som small screws used to attach the filter to the base.

                      Worth checking out!

That or put some neoprene washers in between cooler and chassis.

I love your attention to detail though.. mismatching screw color. Awesome.

How in the world did I miss this thread?!

Get out of my head. This entire build has been what I wanted! Except the RB, any particular reason you went with the RB instead of something like the 2JZ?

Anyways great work! Please keep posting pics
