OP where are you hosting your pics? They don't show up for me, I'm sure it's some site that I've blocked...

Hosted by r3v, so they should show up. Are you viewing from a 3G source? My iPhone gives up on loading pics when there are 20+ on the page.

I'm hopefully going to put another 100-200mi on the break-in tomorrow. I flew out to NYC the day after I got it running, and haven't touched it since.

Check engine light was from a sensor on the charcoal canister not being plugged in. Got all the inspection lights reset too.

Well... the engine runs like a champ and has about 280 miles on it now.

"CorvallisBMW" took it for a 150mi round-trip beer run yesterday to a few breweries in Hood River (Walking Man and Double Mountain).

Now we're dealing with a leaky rear main seal :-/
We had some difficulty getting it on; it was having a tendency to fold over on itself during the install. I'm wondering whether our attempts to get it on there may have damaged it.
The oil that's leaking is really black (the oil in the pan is super clean), so I'm thinking that the oil is leaking past the seal and getting burnt as it passes.
