Nice :) lots of people are against running Accusump here because they never used to have the option for an EPC electric valve. It was also ways done manually by the driver. Quite a few drivers forgot to switch the valve on startup thus running a bearing shell or whatever. Its still 1000000 times cheaper than running a dry sump.
The EPC is more for track day / road cars rather than hardcore race, endurance vehicles. This is because the valve has a slower flow rate that the manual valve setup. It doesnt mean it does do its job at all, just in a hard core race situation where an engine might run higher g-forces and pressure drop happens faster and more frequently such as repedative braking and cornering under heavy load. The Manual valve can supply oil quicker.
The EPC is best for weekend trackers and people who may use the car on the road as the EPC is relay/soliniod is triggered normally from your ignition barrel .. its a true fire and forget solution.
I will be connecting mine to a red light and beeper, So if the EPC fails to engage I have atleast a warning to kill the engine if there ever was a problem.
Just come out with us and use mine or something.. feb19th
