Nice update here, How much ducting did you need? I plan on doing the same thing with mine, also nice find at Home Depot Racing!

How much did the carbon fiber brake ducts run you? I can get them done in metal, but CF is a nice way to prevent adding unsprung weight

Who is putting on the event on the 4th?

Well guys Natalie hit the 250,000 mile mark. This has been a great car. Proper care and maintenance goes a long way. She's been my daily driver to work and school and the occasional driving event. Celebrating by doing a track day in a few weeks at autoclubspeedway.

Went to danco today and snapped a few pictures

You can see orange brake ducts in this shot.

    Hey there texj
    It's usually about 70.
    Plus gas and lunch.
The events are about an hour from where I live.
    It's not to expensive.
The expense is what doing these driving events makes you want to do to your car.

    Hey guys.
I went to another autocross with the scca club
I got 9th out of 40 in the unlimited class.

My friend Matt, Mena, Rafael, and Jared all made it out to the event.
This event kind of sucked we only got 4 runs the whole day
No video because I forgot to charge the damn go pro
I also failed tech because of my battery tie down :hitler:
Which caused me to miss the course walk. :hitler:

This event had time slips at the end of each run which I thought was awesome.

Kind of as a thank you.

he sent me about 7 feet of 3 inch high temp brake duct tubing for free! Stoked!

    thanks Scott, (Flyingbricke30)

BMW and Porsche Specialists. Lang Racing Development is your Orange County BMW and Porsche Service and Repair, racing and performance specialists

I found these at Home Depot.

these adapters fit the square brake duct and the 3 inch round hose.
the adapter need these 4 little nubs cut off.

I just cut them with a pair of side cutters

you get a rough hole that can cut into your brake hose

just file it down or sand it down.

wrapped it black tape to prevent chaffing

    it fits!

here is the hose just mocked up to the brake duct

trying to get these wrapped up before the next track day coming up next month
