They restrict flow massively. Just an old low tech way of making a bend.

Looks good, I wish mine sat as tight to the car as your's. What size tubing, if its 2.5" it will flow better then an OBDI E36 even with crush bends. Is it all one piece from the engine to just befor the cat?
