If it hasnt already been said, I want to be the first to say it. It is completely possible for three seperate things to break, AT THE SAME TIME!
First was the pressure regulating valve, which was ordered and replaced. M3 still ran like shit. Turns out, somehow, the connector for all the spark plugs came loose and the car was running on two cylinders! (I know this because the PO put some crazy coil packs that blink everytime they fire)
Well after reconnecting that the car still didnt idle for shit, but at least it wasnt struggling at 300 rpms! So, I grab my carb cleaner (this is after I cleaned the ICV and the MAF) and go to town looking for vacuum leaks. To no avail.
So as I am chilling there I just decide to stick my hand down under the manifold and feel for stuff. And for some reason, the ICV is humming and vibrating softly.
Turns out, since the PO installed an M50 manifold on the S52, he had the ICV at such an extreme angle, that the wires at the connector wore through the casing, and were shorting each other out!
So I got a new plug, and extended the wires a little bit and voila, all problems fixed.
Except for one.
The car will die after it idles for precisely 15 seconds. Without fail. If I blip the throttle it wont do it. I am still stumped, but at least its driveable. Gonna swap the ICV from the E30 and see if it solves the problem.Leave a comment:

Got the M3 fixed, again. Lets see how long it takes to break this time!
Still lovin' my E30. The hood is coming along well, and I found something I like a lot, and incorporated it into the design. Though I am still no artist.

This M3 has got to be the biggest piece of shit I have ever purchased.
I am honestly very close to putting it up for sale and letting someone else deal with it.
One problem after another, non stop. Cant even drive it right now because it wont idle for shit, and it sounds like a freight train when I manage to get it above 300 rpms.
On the other hand, the E30 is perfect. Fuck E36's.Leave a comment:

I FINALLY got my housing back! Now I have to take it into a few local places to see what they can do about putting my E30 into the high horsepower range.
On another note, 16x 9.5, et 35 on all four corners? I know the style 5's are very nice, but a little 3 piece action doesnt seem like a bad idea to me. Lemme know what you think.
