I finally got off my lazy behind and got some work done. Painted and wrapped the headers that are going to attach to the new 3 inch single tube high flow exhaust so I can squeeze some more power out of the top end.
Fresh high temp thermal paint.
Locktited the two nuts I dont need.
The finished product. Took a long time to wrap them tight and all that jazz. I am happy with them, but I am sure I could have done better.
Stay tuned for updates on the next step. The cooling system!
Haha, apparently North Island doesnt give two shits about paperwork. you can always try there. I am having the same problem, but the next time I drive out to phoenix to chill I am gonna stop at MCAS Yuma and get me a sticker.
I demand that if we see each other we must stop and say whats up. I wanna see this thing.
Absolutely, I'd love to see this car in person. Thanks for the tip, I will try both those routes (I also heard some legal O's just have a stash of them to hand out)
Lookin nice! Can't wait to see it driving around. Sounds like it is a beast! I just picked up a DS s52 M3, so if you see it around, that's me. Now I just need to figure out a way to get base stickers without doing emissions :(

Dude, I loved your style 5s in silver!!!! Please do that, and a decent paint job and you're golden! Definitely working hard on the e30 though.
That 3inch will help a lot for top end pull. Match it with a 2.79 lsd. =P You got the power for it! 190 mph e30 sounds nice. (and scary to shitz)
I have another set, still in silver, so do not fear! if this car had clean paint it would be too good. It has to have a falter!
True. and I have a 2.93 lsd in my room that I was contemplating throwing on there. I am sure it would help with the highway rpm's, which I do a lot of highway driving. And I am also sure the E30 will do however fast it is geared to go. Without a doubt.
this thing is unreal got chance to go for a ride when mike came up to look at a buddies car and damn his car is something else! sounds soo bad ass alll you hear at first is the supercharger spinning and the the motor and exhaust. pulled super hard it was unreal!
also thanks again for coming up to help out, got a pressure regulator but still not getting it started and fixed everything else..
sorry on the thread jack...
Thanks man! Everyone looks at the car as I drive past now, though I am sure most people think its about to explode due to the superchargers incessant whining!
You still cant get it started, and you sealed the intake system, and installed the fuel pressure regulator?? Hm, let me think on it and I will PM you.
Damn Jason, I cant even imagine my car with its ass that high in the air! Those pictures are super old.
I have been busy since that Dockweiler meet. And I woulda been to the last one but I was on vacation in Florida. Though you can definitely count me in for the next one.
Now, down to business.
June 30th, 2010
Updates have been slacking due to a recent vacation to Florida (hot as hell!) and my baby going to an advanced college course for the next couple of weeks. But I finally had some time to devote to the car.
Purchased a 16 inch Spal pusher and an all aluminum radiator to fix my current heavy and slightly broken system. I am also looking into silicone radiator hoses for the added durability, but its gonna be tough to find one that will work with the supercharger.
And this is my next step. I wanna get all the power out of this thing that I can, and truly harness all of the superchargers capabilities. I am not saying I am disappointed with the E30, or its power. But if I do have the ability to get more oomph I will.
So its time to upgrade from my current 2.5 inch, to a meaner and fresh 3 inch single tube exhaust. Still gonna run a cat, resonator and a muffler to keep the noise at a drivable level, but still get that power I know is in there.
This is all gonna happen this weekend, after I stand my shitty 24 hour saturday duty.
High temp thermal paint, exhaust wrap and stainless steel ties. I will document the process just in case someone wants to know how to do it.
One thing changed. Its not getting painted. I dont have the time or experience to do it myself, and with the mods I need to do to it, I cant justify paying someone to do it.
So its not getting painted, but i do promise to do something that will make the car look more aesthetically pleasing to your eyes.
And yes, videos will be coming. I am just a lazy bastard sometimes.
