Nice work man... So going all solid in the rear from the speed shop is worth it? I need to re-work all my rear bushings also....

I had the LC-1 wideband on my last setup and I bought an MTX this time around. The AEM is also very nice!
LC-1 is good from what I hear & it was between that and an AEM UEGO for the longest time, but I've honestly been leaning towards the AEM. Didn't know about the MTX, I'll have to give that a look.

Is that what you ended up going with? I've been scoping out your build thread but haven't gotten a chance to read all the way through the turbo part. What happened to the meth??

Well for me it was & I'd recommend them to anyone. It gives the car a nice tight feel!

yup, I love the Mtx-l it has a much further reading range than my friends AEM and when tuning a turbo car there are times when you are stupid rich and you need a guage to show it. My car has been happily running on meth since the first install with no issues. Going to up the meth flow soon and squeeze some more power out

I went ahead and dropped the cash on the wideband. I went with a AEM UEGO per some friends' recommendations. I also ordered a pair of shorter front springs. I was wondering if I'm going to need to shorten my Bilstein Sports as well when I ship them in to get rebuilt. How many of you had your struts & shocks shortened?

I'm tossing a few ideas around, writing the good ones down;)

So she's been running quite fine for the past month. In that time I have installed a boost gauge, boost controller, and a wideband. The car runs in the 12s-13s when boosting and that will have to suffice until WOT-TECH can help me out with the tuning ;) I also went ahead and got an exhaust made up for the car. The Volvo down tube I used is 2.5" in diameter, but I felt if I made the exhaust 2.5" & I ever needed to put a larger turbo on the car I would have to redo all of the exhaust in 3" if I was really serious about making some power. So I left the down tube 2.5" and had the exhaust shop make the rest 3". So if I do ever feel the need to put on a larger turbo, I'll just have to change the down pipe

Sadly, I had to run the boost gauge thru the windshield sprayer notch in the hood. I smudged my note & misread a 6 for a 4 at the store & winded up being 2 feet short of hose. I can see it fine though, and it's just a 0-20psi Snap On pressure gauge, so it should be able to handle the weather lol. Here's some pics!

A quick picture topside of the car to show the little monster that I built the exhaust for.

I have question about the very first page of this thread! I have the problem of not being able to roll up or down the windows because of the ignition switch I believe. Did you replace it? Does it work now? I have a trick as to where I will driving and if the windows don't work I will switch off the motor until all of the electronics die off then I turn the key into the "run" position and bump start the car so I can then roll up and down the windows.

And here's a video of the exhaust running, it's by far the quietest that the car has ever been after driving it around for two months with just the old 2 foot down tube!

Where did you route the coolant line to the reservoir at? Looks and sounds good!

interesting choice of turbo, is that the 13c or 15g? I probably missed it in the reading somewhere. If its the 13c you can get a 15g off a fwd 8xx turbo for a significant difference, and still bolts up to everything the 13c did.
