I see what you mean... on the video that turbo looks really tight against the side. Was the motor moved over to get that clearance?

I'm starting to watch the turbo builds. Mine will be an M54 turbo, of course!

Yes it was moved over a good bit with a custom motor mount.

Can't wait to see the results on this setup. SC power is nice but turbo power is were it's at. You'll be happy for sure.
Yep I agree 100% on both accounts. BTW what size intercooler were you running on your M50 set-up? I was/still running a 28x11x2.5 with 2.25 inlets but I want to mount mine like yours for better air flow but, its not fitting. Its about 1in to tall :( Here is how I had it with the supercharger..... what are your thoughts?

heres how i did my ebay cooler. I also notched the bumper to allow more air in underneath. Buttoned up you cant tell if from stock and i plan on painting it black so you cant see it
I have to find the specs but its 2.5 in/out

That intercooler is the perfect fit. That's exactly how I want it.... sleeper. The way I had it before looked stock once everything was on but as you can see the bumper blocked most of the direct air flow. If you can please find me the link or specs that would be awesome!

That's a big intercooler, plus Blunt's car is going to have a/c. You will have to relocate the oil cooler to fit.

I wouldn't paint the ebay intercoolers let alone any intercooler, it actually decreases efficiency. the paint over the intercooler fins traps heat believe it or not and makes it harder to cool.

Thanks man that's the one I ended up ordering. I got some more parts and started getting things ready to put in. I'm still waiting on the manifold and exhaust housing to get back from the ceramic coater's :/ Should be this week though. Then I can start making some progress.

Any thoughts on how to tap the oil pan in car? I am thinking about trying to weld it or tap it ( I know I'm being lazy)..... Has anyone done either before?

Looking good Justin! This thing should be a monster.

Why did you decide to change from the coilover setup to bilstein / h&r race?

Idk I really just liked this set-up on my old car, I still hear crap from Dominic49 (best friend) about how he can't believe I sold my coil-over kit but it is what it is hopefully I didn't make a mistake.

Hey Justin, love the progress on your build! :pimp:

Not a fan of the suspension choice. The H&R Race will be too soft up front for the added weight of a 24v motor + the extra weight from turbo. On top of that you have no adjustment with your shocks.

Hopefully you prove me wrong with the suspension, but I don't see that happening. Good luck either way.
