I honestly don't think there's room under there for the cat, and another muffler right after. It's going to have to be the cat, and the muffler at the back.

i'd run that with the 2 mufflers.

I'm sorry, but I have said that so many times already. The first muffler in place of the cats is a small Magnaflow dual in/dual out. But it seems to be completely useless. I think I'm just going to have to put a cat back in it.

i feel you pain on having to change your exhaust 9 million times, it sucks.

i'd run a cat in the closest to stock location as possible, that magnaflow where the stock resonator was and then the muffler...where the muffler goes.

I think this is what I'm going to end up doing, just ditch/sell the Magnaflow and go with a pair or 2 single universal cats. Anyone have good recommendations on models that are good, and low-profile? Don't want them to be too thick and hang low.

Cats (unless they are blown) do make a difference in sound....even on v8s.

Yeah, I didn't delete the cats or anything, I just didn't have one. I had one with my old eta's exhaust system, this car got a whole new system.

This is really starting to frustrate me, I don't get why there isn't just a fix for this. I don't mind the sound, I just don't want it to be as loud as it is. And some of you are saying "just drive it, be happy", but I really don't like it being this loud, I feel like my car sounds like just another shitbox Honda with a stupidly loud exhaust so everyone will look at them.

Not yet. And most of my friends all say it sounds really good, but it's SO LOUD in the car. I myself haven't heard it outside the car yet. All I can hear is how loud it is in the car, and that's how I think it sounds outside.

the headers don't cause that much rasp...people just seem to think running no cat gives them more hp. a cat gets rid of alot of rasp. and running a good muffler or two helps.
