I bet your ass you could do some of the OE style weight placement on the system to get rid of the unwanted sound.

how many mufflers do you have? I'd suggest a resonator and another muffler at minimum. Cats do wonders for quieting things down if you don't have one already.
Generally, the straight setups I've seen are 1 res (or I guess glass pack) for high end rasp, and 2 mufflers. Even then it's still loud.
Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

resonators don't really make it quiet, they just change the sound. you need a different muffler. you still have the magnaflow? plus a flowmaster? and no cat? that's why it's loud. it has little to do with your headers.
I don't see why you can't fit more, I've got 2 mufflers, a cat, and still have to consider the transfercase when fitting it all in there. and it's not loud either :)

Well, then what I'm going to do for now is order the Dynomax super turbo, a single 3" in/dual out is only $65. Everything i've find online says they're super quiet and will do wonders for loudness on pretty much any exhaust system. The flowmaster doesn't eveeven seem like it has packing, mostly just baffles.
