Got my new valve cover today, last part I was waiting on for my powdercoating run. I'm having the valve cover, Vanos block plate, oil filter housing cover, engine arms, thermostat housing, and engine pulleys all done in the same silver as my wheels.

Got a new box of parts today from blunttech, new M42 radiator expansion tank (it's so beautiful and white), engine mounts, belt, and some more hardware. Just temped up the radiator with the new tank and everything, and it looks killer! Gonna paint the radiator with a fresh coat of black tomorrow.

What paint can you use on radiators?

IIRC Greddy did research on intercooler efficiency and a light coat of paint reduces it by only 1% or so. I would imagine the same thing applies to radiators.

Just use a satin spray paint to hide it. As long as there isn't 4 coats of thick paint on the radiator the cooling capacity shouldn't be affected too much.

The only reason I painted mine is because it was painted black by the previous owner, and it was really badly faded, so I just put a nice new coat of semi-gloss black Rustoleum on it, it actually looks really good.

Actually got some work done today! I spent about 45 minutes the other night cleaning my throttle body inside and out, and today, I reinstalled the intake manifold, throttle body, and oil filter housing.

I also removed and thoroughly cleaned the oil pan inside and out, and reinstalled it with a fresh gasket.
