    For those who are asking.
I started by pulling out the passenger seat, the whole rear seat and the glove box, and speaker grill.
Then remove the plastic inner black kick plate, the one that covers the doorjamb.
Remove the front passenger seatbelt, and the rear armrest.
    Peel back the carpet.
Then there is an opaque plastic “S” shape that gets removed.
Now under the doorjamb there are clips holding a ton of wires. Pop those loose with a flat headed screwdriver.
Now go to trunk and remove the right side strut, right side felt/rubber liner, and then remove the back cover, which covers the motor area. Now you will be able to see a small whole at the floor level on the right side of the trunk. Feed the cable though that, then out the hole on the pass. side. Then down the floor covering it with that opaque plastic “S.” run it through the clips, BE VERY careful not to break them. Then up the wall behind the speaker grill and through the whole I showed earlier.
I had to add 8” more to the wire.

    hope this help you.

Vivek, you need the cable, battery tray, battery cover, trunk cable holder, and the mount for it in the engine bay. cost me $40 for it all at pic'n pull 1/2 off day. (318 does not work. needs to be from a 325i)

I did the same, but I routed it differently and just added the M42/S14 harness covers + battery tray cover (needed trimming for my 0 gauge run is all).

Left the trunk alone, didn't bother putting the carpet panel back on the right side....I don't care enough.

Eric, I don't know how I missed your thread. Love all the work you put into it. It's unfortunate how much money we put into these cars. We'll never make it back. Lol.

              Busy weekend.
Saturday Todd and I started on reupholstering my front seats, with Kevin Chin’s seat kit. Todd is awesome; he walked me through the steps of disassembling the seats and checking them for damage. Many times the welds break, luckily both mine hadn’t broken but just needed grease.
Here is the before, I’ll take an after when they are done.

After about 2 hours the seats were broken down and then we started putting the leather on. This has the makings of a long slow process.

Now here’s the part that may be controversial. About a year ago I picked up a blue mtech2 spoiler and finally about a month ago I had Oliver paint it for me. So after letting it cure I put it on yesterday, along with deleting the 3rd brake light.

To the right is my dad’s car, without and then mine with.

Personally I was on the fence about it, but it has grown on me.

i'm not typically a fan of the mtech 2 rear spoiler, but i prefer your car with it, looks good.

is the new seat material tan, or is that just the camera/light?

i'm asking about the new material you're recovering the original seats in.
