    FredK, you're my hero!

You'll probably want a smaller MC. We tried a similar setup on my brother's car with the pivot point moved up 1.25" and the pedal was still really hard with the stock MC.

I'm stoked to see this post. This hopefully should help a lot. Count me in on helping document this swap. I'm gathering parts right now and I'll soon be making a build thread of my own.

            This is excellent....

I have been waiting to swap a S54 into my 01 325xi touring. I know the AWD will handle the power and those parts of it will bolt up. The one thing I have been unsure about is the oil pan. If the e34 pan will fit the m54 xi pan should fit as well... correct?

Are you going to do all the wiring, programming yourself? When I was looking into it a few months ago I found a tuner in Canada that would handle all the ecu reprogramming for a pretty nice price. Maybe $500...if I remember correctly.

I'm not sure about the XI oil pan. :(

I am not sure who this Canadian guy is, but I'll only be doing the wiring myself.

I would, if I had a long vacation to drive over there, but I don't. :(

Cool story bro. Glad to see another person start before me, lol. Look forward to seeing your progress with the brakes, as that's the only hurdle I'm worried about.

You're using UweM3's guy from s14 right? It's the same guy from 300mm.de.
