    My latest addition

This is to compliment the e30 I guess, once I clean it up it will be a nice daily driver as e30 is turning more and more into a weekend/autocross only toy.

I've been trying to find a clean 535i 5speed to drop the swap from the e30, but have not been able to find anything with a nice clean body w/o it being automatic. I did not want to deal with converting automatic to 5speed so, this is as close as it got. It was a customers car, timing belt went and I guess the body was clean enough for them to buy it to fix/flip it.

Story is pretty funny too. Was visiting a friend of mine at a local euro/bmw shop and after chatting for a bit with him and then the owner of the shop (master tech with 25 year experience, who has quite a few cool cars incluing TWO e32 745i turbo cars (one is for sale)) who then offered to sell me this "roller" for what he paid for. Wasn't exactly the car I was looking for, but color was right, and it is 5speed and it has LSD... so for $500 I figured why not.

I have already ordered euro clock for it and black headliner pieces. Staggered 18" m-parallels are coming as well. Plan is to throw another head on it first, and re-do the suspension and convert the interior to late model black leather.. it's currently tan but it does have a black dash.

Anyway, here is the only picture I got lol.

Definitely replace the thrust arms/bushings with the upgraded 750i arms/bushings ASAP as well as the rear pitman arms ('dogbones'). Should cost about $250 from blunt and takes all of an hour or so. Totally transforms the car, you can pretty much guarantee that the parts on there now are shot to sh*t.

As far as springs/shocks, there's a very good sticky thread in the e34 section of bf.c that outlines all the spring/shock combos, ride heights, ride quality, example pics, etc.

Great looking car. A luxury sedan with a manual transmission is very desired to me.

Damn clean for $500. Its a 535i? I didn't really understand what you meant by "drop the swap from the e30?" Are you putting something else in the e30?

Yeah, have all those arms and bushings added to the list of items to replace already :)

I'll check out BFC, I don't want to slam it or make it undrivable, but a good looking drop while still keeping it a comfy daily is my goal.

No, it's an early 525i 5speed car with lsd. Yes, m30b35 is going into the e34(and the reason why it has it be an early car, as the engine has to be newer than the chassis) and m60b40 is going into the e30.
