Thanks, I've slowed down my pace a lot, since I realized that making my deadline of early August was impossible, but the slower pace will make for a better end result, I think. I still have not gotten the drivers door picked up, so it's kind of just waiting for me to get some more free time to work on it...

Long time since the last picture update... I've been busy at the shop and I have not worked on it for about 2 weeks. I rolled the front fenders flat and then schutzed and painted them on the inside, so I could mount them and block them with the rest of the bodywork...

Then I shot the whole body with primer, misted on some guide coat and then started blocking. Discovered that even brand new panels from BMW need work to make them acceptable... this may take a while...

The hood will need the most work...

Drivers side is guide coated, but not blocked yet...

I still have to pick up the drivers door, which I have not had time to go get. Maybe sometime this week or next weekend, we'll see...

Short update tonight... I got my Wilwood pedal assembly in today, along with my cats, X-pipe and mufflers and I picked up a drivers door, finally. Spent about an hour stripping it and aligning it on the car so I can prep it and prime it. I'll get some pics up tomorrow of all the stuff that came in... the pedal assembly is bad ass...

Thanks man... Inside of front fenders I used Stone Guard from Martin Seynour(NAPA) which I've used many times, with excellent results. It's a rattle can application, but it works very well for small spot blending or like what I used it for here. The rest of the underside was done with 3M Schutz, which is applicator gun applied.
