It's only because I have a great wife! Seriously... there is no other reason that I could work 10-12 hours and then another 4-6 on the project car, without her support and her devotion to the kids and house. I mean, it's not like I work on the project car everyday, but I try to get time on it at least once a week, usually on Thursdays. The trade off is that she gets to do whatever she wants, whenever she wants as far as shopping, going out with girlfriends, etc. It's a good balance for both of use and we still have "datenight" every week!
Who cares if your car has a shitty paint job... you've won at Pebble Beach! My 540 is an awesome, rare car, that looks and drives like a proper BMW should because of all the time and effort I've put into it, but I've never won at PB! This car will be a unique and fun car when it's done, but it will never see PB... it's all perspective, I guess...
BTW, that buck looks cool... I want to see the finished panel too, when you're done...

Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

if she goes for that, astroglide up your pole, have her lay on her stomach and slip it in slowly and bury it to your balls and leave it there until she relaxes. once she is used to it slam that ass like a screen door.

The Project Forum sounds like the right place to me.

Yeah, it might be long and boring from your perspective, but it's the process that's interesting and many have never seen a restoration where you start with a lot of nothing and make something from it. You just never know who you might inspire...;)

Yeah, metal working, when done by someone who knows what they are doing, is an art form. There are plenty of people who have never seen it done, but would love the opportunity to see it done properly...
