Spent the last few days making a new set of aluminum motor mounts, making up a bunch of braided lines and locating my power steering cooler. I finally have something to show...

Money shot... literally... bunch of money tied up in pieces in these first few pictures. The lines will be tied up better once I'm satisfied with the orientation of them. You can also see one of the new aluminum motor mounts in the second picture...

Here's a few of the oil cooler and lines... the cooler in the pictures is only temporary until the bigger Setrab comes in, first of the week. You can also see where I hung the power steering cooler, on the right, below the drivers side headlight. It actually ends up right behind the fog light opening in the bumper...

The oil filter mount and lines...

And the power steering fluid cooler and lines...

I'm still waiting on my power steering fluid reservoir to arrive, so I can finalize the feed and return lines. I'm also waiting for my M22 to 6AN, 8AN and 10AN fittings for the coolers and a couple of additional AN fittings. Once I'm satisfied with all of the line routings, I'll order my clamps and separators from the UK and tidy it all up. One more thing checked off my to-do list...

Truly an inspiration! I'm buying a plane ticket to Pennsylvania when this thing is complete, just so i can say I have seen the sickest e30 of all time. haha

Nice work on the motor mounts. You should post up a few more pics so we can get a better look at them.

I'll agree with that. Those things look much better then the ones you had on there the last time I was over. Nice work!

Those braided hoses, even though some are for power steering, just scream "Look at how much of a badass race car I am". I like it :D

The coolers and hoses look excellent! Love the filter setup too, it takes Ford V8 filters right?

It takes about a hundred different styles of filters... The Bosch ones I have on it are from 60s-80s Toyota trucks, IIRC. Mann and Hengst also make filters that fit, as well as the Ford and Chevy filter varieties...

I just read this whole thread. Great work. You are doing things I can only dream of. I hope to one day see this car in person. Good luck. I am eagerly waiting to see some paint slapped on.
Have you considered smoked hella/depo projectors. It really sets the front off IMO.

i doubt with all this time and money invested he would end up with some cheap aftermarket lighting

Cheap in what sense? Because they are not OEM?

I actually have the headlights already... they're Bosch Euro smiley's which are going to be retro-fitted with E38 projectors, burners and ballasts. I haven't decided whether or not I will be running fog lights yet and I have not decided on French turn signals and/or French Laminex on the smiley's. Still on the fence about that, so we'll see. And BTW, I have Hella smiley's on my E34 with DEPO clear signals and tails... ;)

Thanks, I just spit out my morning coffee, lol! Although I am flattered by the compliment, I have a pregnant wife who would be very upset if I fathered a love child with an Aussie male, haha...

                          Thanks man,

But, just imagine the funny things it would say, and the e30's it would build. Imagine.

                                Yes, food for thought...
