Some progress made today so far, rear subframe is freed from its arms, front assy is out, ds is at the shop, dimple strips are in place, and cleaning the engine bay some. Filling unused holes, grinding plastic nut studs off and removing brackets.

The wave of parts this week started out with some carbon weave today. Sunroof panel showed up from Arizona. Now to get the roof to line up better with the contour, its still bent some..

Thank you! I can hardly wait to paint it though, it will look so clean. I'm considering solid mounting the subframe since ive got those stud locations tied in.

                      Lowering column...shear bolts! Fuuuu
Will probably cheat and just cut it away then rebuilt a new support to the height I want off the under dash bar.

A few more pesky holes patched, the cowl vents. The small holes on the outsides will be filled as well. Grind down the weld, and if it's "ehhh straight enough" I'm not going to bother with filler.

Where work stops today, I'm waiting for this horrendous smelling seam sealer stuff to dry enough to paint tomorrow. I hope. That means the engine goes in right after if that's the case.

Well, lookin good here and now literally REALLY waoting for paint to dry...
A little over a can of primer, and just under two cans of paint. Besides not being silver, this grey is a pretty close shade to lachs. Exterior will be painted white or grey somewhere cheap..
