Forward rake... not anymore. I was bored and with all the shitola surrounding the car the wife said to get something around $100 that I've been wanting as a "consolation" prize for not being able to drive my third, soon to be fourth, love. So I picked these up:

After installation I realize now that I'll be stuffing adjusters in there and spinning it up a bit...

I had to put spring pads in just to roll it forward a few inches. Need to break out the hammer and get wacking again on the rear fenders. There's nearly no way I can match the fronts to the rear that low and actually drive so, adjusters and spring pads are going in just to make it daily-able. It looks amazing and I'll be sure to snag some better pictures after she's up and running again.

To give you an idea, my low profile jack wont fit under the rear jacking point to get the car off the ground a bit. Hopefully the 800lb rear springs don't rub much with just the pads in when she's rolling around ;) We'll see!

Were you able to buy those springs separate from the adjusters?

Yeah you can pick up those springs from GC separately. You cannot however get the adjusters separately ;) They are, VERY low. Keep that in mind.

So, Luke and I managed to get everything put together today. It started. It ran. Like asshole. And as of right now, doesn't want to stay running for any length of time. Vacuum leaks are not out of the question as I have a very questionable hose and one, count 'em, one missing intake nut. But, the entire top end is silky, buttery smooth except for the dying part. And rough idle. Any suggestions?

                            I wish, heh.

I just went and tightened down the intake nuts. Go figure, they where loose. Idle is significantly smoother but still surges. I think it's time to break out the carb cleaner and gently spraying on misc. vacuum lines. I really just want the damn thing on the road. Being able to actually make some money would be nice for a few months.

Good work getting it back together so quickly. Hope you are able to track down the issue fairly easily.
