STARTED TO CLEAN UP THE PISTONS AND BLOCK







used some wd40, brake cleaner, 3m red scotch pads, and some swearing to clean em up

The Injector harness connnector was pretty nasty so i cleaned it up with some CLR

cleaning parts takes alot of time and patience, RED bull, beer and pizza comes in pretty handy

so while the head is away being rebuilt and re surfaced. TIME TO PAINT

ordered some new springs, the tokikos spring rate that were previously installed were too soft, and the ass sagging and rubbage in the rear wheel wells was anoying, so the PELICAN came thru again with some H&R RACE. I took advantage of the dollar being at par.

So its the dead of winter here, and nothing really happening as my garage doesn't have heating.
So my Dad called me up and said i got something you might be interested in. As i already asked him to keep an eye out for. Well wouldn't you know, so we went to pick this POS HEAP OF RUST UP.

The cage is very solid, its only surface rust. I am going to make proper re-inforced mounting boxes for the bases. that car was going to be used as a one time flip car by a pro stunt man. the car sat for 2 years, and they couldn't get it started , so he just wanted to get rid of it. The cage was built by a pro shop that preps allseason rally cars. believe me this cage is overkill, it was built to be flipped.
