    Lookin good man!!!

I can't help but wonder why no one thought of covering those SRD's with garbage bags or something!!! Shame to see them get covered up by the dust from the bodywork.

Haha I hear you on covering stuff.... But when it is all going to go it doesn't really matter. Working on getting the interior lined up right now. New upholstery, Headliner, Carpet, Package tray and maybe some new door panels are on my wish list. I Was also thinking about filling the recess on the dash and wrapping the whole thing in leather.

The name of the shop is Sacio Enterprises. I have known the owner for years. If you want to come out and check it out and meet him shoot me a pm and we will work something out. If you want to check out the work on mine once the paint is done that would be cool too.

Shop has been busy the last few days. Not much progress other than a guy coat. She is waiting to get wet sanded and get a little color. Updates soon!

Ran into a big problem today and need to track down parts. Turns out someone covered up a bunch of rust with body filler around the battery and after it was all removed it resembles swiss cheese more than a battery box. If anyone has a parts car in san diego that will let me cut off what I need let me know please :)

If I buy new from the dealer it will be mega $ Since I am only needing a little bit from each part it would be crazy to buy them all i think

no they are not that high seriously consider using new. Body shops normally get a discounted price as well.

I tried looking up the parts I would need on real oem and I would have to order the whole trunk floor I think and the rear tail section. Just those 2 parts are $700 if I can find a donor car and get what I need it should be considerably less. Ill try and give the dealer a call tomorrow but I don't think that I will be able to get and afford what I need. This resto is already draining bank account haha

Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been mega sick and haven't been able to get up to check out my car. Last time I was there I prepped all the small pieces and primed them. We found the donor piece to fix the rust--so once we get that replaced on to wet sand and paint.... woot

there are 3 cars at the yards in chula vista that have clean rust free rear ends. all are late models. I was just there a few days ago. You might be able to snag what you need from one of those cars
