        Ahhhh. I was confused then

Im reading up on suspension design. After reading so much, the ground control kit has become much more enticing, however I know I cant afford that

At this point I think my master plan may be the ground controls, and then buy some used bilsteins to get revalved to my spring specs

as far as I know, you need to get a wheel alignment done when you adjust your ride height with GC's, so it may be a good idea to rethink that plan. I plan to install some GC's as well, but I will only be adjusting when the snowy season comes (hopefully i won't have to since vancouver doesn't get much snow)

It's been a good read so far, you've done some good work! I parked next to you at the e30 picnic (red 318is that was next to the henna m3).

I dont know about the alignment part, but I do know that an e30's toe changes in very small amounts when it is lowered. In fact, the rear barely changes at all, even when slammed

Don't you need an alignment when you lower a car in general despite the method of lowering? I believe Firestone has lifetime alignments for around $180. Sounds like a good investment.

I have the firestone lifetime alignment. lol but they cant get a slammed car up on that rack. I would bet H&R race is pushing it for getting it aligned by them

I have a feeling it's more like they don't WANT to do it.

My car is on IE3 with half coil cut and GC plates which give another 12mm. My local alignment shop had no issue.

I havn't tried taking a lowered car in there, but I was just thinking that the rack's ramps are a bit steep for a slammed car

Today was a bitter sweet day.

Sold the e30. Glad it went to a good home.

Im going to miss the car. I thought my 5 would be almost as much fun as driving an e30, but its not.

I love the car, it taught me to wrench, and instilled a forever love of BMW in my veins.

I will miss its no power steering, the driver's side window coming off the track, the 12 hammers, drifting in the rain and getting hella sideways, the taped headlights, the clunking RSMS, the lack of a gas gauge.

Im going to miss the damn car. Big plans for the 5 though, and Im still in this game.

EDIT: Thanks to my homeboy cybernix cause he is awesome and this car would be a turd without his help

Thanks R3V for calling me For3ver Noob... it will stick with me for the rest of my life
