lol so yesterday I cut my new fuel line a few inches too short.

So off to Lowes today to buy one of these - http://www.lowes.com/pd_22333-104-A-...ice&facetInfo=

I of course got 3/8" but it is saving me $20 on fuel line!

one last question bro lol, when you see the wires there are 7 wires i was told that the thin brown/yellow wire doesnt connect to anything, is that right?or did you connect it to something? and i was reading around and it says that 18 gauge is mainly use for single bulb or lighting cuz it handles low amps. just what i read when i was buying wires

Yup on the C191 plug it goes to nothing... so I didnt even make it longer or do anything to it!

Ugh car wasnt getting fuel and I called quits at 8. Time to jump fuel pump relay and check fuses tomorrow. Or give the pump 12V direct.

I really hope it is not the CPS or something... I am out of money

Well after calling Luke Fisher today right when I got home from school... he told me to switch the two plugs by the diagnostic port thingy because I likely mixed them up. Sure enough, one crank and a ton of fuel shoots out.

Car runs great, but I havn't driven it yet because the throttle plate thing the powdercoater coated the threads and two of the things have had bolts snap off in them :( So now I have to extract those... I am going to drill them out very slightly and just buy longer bolts and I have the locknuts... yay

Should be driving the damn thing tomorrow. On first start I got the motoroil light on the check panel, its gone now. Coolant is still lit up though, but temp gauge hasn't gotten above one half yet (although I have done is idle around the neighborhood). So yeah I added the coolant that came out 2 weeks ago, of course strained it with panty hose over the funnel... but I need to bleed the system better and add more distilled water... it took half a gallon of distilled water after I added the coolant that I emptied out 2 weeks ago... here we go

The ol pantyhose over the funnel trick. Classic! Glad you got the car running again.

Thank you Brad. Yup Im proud of myself lots... today I am fixing the throttle plate thing and adding a longer hose for the coolant... it is leaking at the nipple on the thermostat (where the old hose went to the throttle body from)

Havnt updated in awhile. Well 8 days ago I r3v'd my car. Hit a patch of ice on a roundabout and hit a curb. Yay....

Here are pics of the damage

Here you can see where the fender buckled

                    Wheel took quite the hit...

Only damage to the tire, it still holds air fine. I am thinking it is reusable

                    Fucked fender...

Tie rod and control arm bent bad

                    Ball joint is bent

After looking at the frame rail it looks okay... but I dint look at it the greatest. Will re examine next time before disassembly

Here you can see how bent the tie rod is

                    Frame rail

The control arm stood up well surprisingly

Tie rod end joint I guess???

It looks like my spindle is toast too, it appears to be bent. So it looks like I need a new strut tube spindle assembly.

Additionally, I dont know if my sway bar is ok. I know the vert bar is a good OEM replacement, might do that one day.

Ouch! I hope the frame rail is ok. Will insurance cover this?

Well crash happened between 11 and 11:30 pm. I called AAA and waited. They said an hour for a tow, but that tow company didnt do it so I had to wait another 40 minutes.

I pulled my euro plate off so if a sheriff came he wouldn't get extra pissy. Well I got lucky and a nice Sheriff came who sat and waited with me for over an hour for the tow truck. He didnt ticket me or anything, and never even asked to see my license! lol

I got the tow for free, and insurance company will never know. They might cover it, but also my rate would go up so its not worth it IMO. Its about $500 in parts and the job isnt that hard so...

I am trying to stay positive and see it as an excuse to do a front suspension refresh

I've got a used passenger strut housing, control arm, and tie rod here at the shop. $50 if you want them all.

$500 to fix? Man, where do you buy your parts? Seriously though, sorry to see this happened. Get that stuff replaced and you'll be just fine.

I did notice though, why is your trans kickdown cable hanging down by the exhaust and not connected to the throttle body?
