How harsh do the MX's ride? I am on some Toyo T1S and they are very forgiving.Comment

Not bad in my opinion, but this is the first time I've run 17's on this car so I really dont have a benchmark. Now that the car is running, my only complaint is all of the noise coming from the front suspension. I'm running GC's track kit with shortened/reinforced bodies and the touring camber plates. Either the CO sleeve is making the noise or it's the M3 control arms that I bought used from Joe Funk like 4+ years ago. I'm going to pull it all apart and go through it when I have a chance.
Sorry for the lack of updates the last few days, its been crazy to get the car done in time for the Eurowerks 6 show that was held in Minneapolis yesterday. I set a goal last fall to have the car running and entered in the show for the first time in the 6 years that Eurowerks has put the show on. While the car wasnt as "finished" as I would have liked it to be, it was driveable and looked pretty good. The only major work that needs to be done now is the interior.

And here is a picture from Eurowerks 6. Surprisingly, the car won 1st place in the 1980's class and then picked up Best BMW at the show. Very cool!

There are some pictures of the show that are beginning to surface on the internet. Here is a good one of the turbi covers painted AWII.

And a few pictures from the show. As I mentioned, this is the 6th year for Eurowerks which is a local car club. It has become one of the premier euro car shows in the midwest and is held on the grounds of the old Grain Belt Brewery. There was an incredible amount of diversity from old to new as well as style and taste. Here are a few pictures from one of the Eurowerks members.

Thanks! The motor is great! The suspension noise is driving me nuts. No one appears to make a true coilover with threaded body for the e30 M3. H+R's were discontinued a few years ago and AST wants HUGE money for theirs. I think I'm going to start with ordering some new front control arms and go from there...Originally posted by Simon SWhen a dream is a dream for too long - it becomes a fantasy..

The ones I have on the Z are from a small company named AMR. I love them. If you email Adam the owner and tell him what you want (spring rate etc) I am sure he can make you a set for under well 1500.
