But i don't wanna! ;) So I just can't win with this car at the moment... Had everything buttoned up and went to crank it, MY FEED LINE HAS A HOLE IN IT... now that I have pressure, oil went EVERYWHERE... Cleaned that up and now have to wait until Monday again to get a new feed line made. Lucky I love this car so much.... FUUUUUUU

Dropped the rack and sub-frame to do the oil pan -

New oil pressure relief valve and oil pump (again), I have oil pressure now!

Picked up a turbo blanket as well -

So as i do with any motor I build, cranked it over with the valve cover off to verify im getting oil to the head. Also pulled my turbo feed line off to make sure i had pressure there too. Had 0 pressure, wooohoooo...

Dropped the oil pan and windage tray. Just as i suspected, the Oil pressure relief valve was stuck open and i wasnt building any oil pressure. The oil pump is brand new but the valve i never replaced, LESSON LEARNED THERE.

    OPV -

Fitting is on, car cranks but im not getting oil seeping from the head.

Maybe im being paranoid when priming the system but i'd at least like to see some oil seeping out of the galleys before starting the car...

I used a 20% wrinkle black powder for both parts. I have never tried the stuff at auto zone, worth a try though!
