This thread is a train wreak. I was looking forward to watching a build thread. but thanks to waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffless like E30f34r we are going to have another 2,000,000 page shit show.
Less chatter, more updates and/or car talk. Take it to the off topic.
Jay let me know if you need any parts. Built it, Drive it.
There you go.
Jay & John, you might want to reach out to Tim (Philo on the boards) about the headers. He got me a modded OBD-II set to work on my OBD-I M50. Bought, modded and glass-beaded to be purty for $125.00. Not sure if that was a local discount or not, but they're nicely done!
wow that was pretty damn clever. i have noticed you have been on here for a while. do you just sit at your house waking of to porn and talking shit on r3v because you know they wont come to your house beat you?
i know i am not really helping things by responding because you probably get off to pissing people off more than the porn.
But like I said in that PM, good luck and grow some skin or buy a r3v suit(I sell them, 15usd paypal).
I got lucky , when I got this motor it's already converted into obd1. But this is helpful . Thank you!

If you want to use something other than the cast OBD1 headers, go to the closest BAR office and check to make sure you can, they're usually nice about giving lists of exactly what you need to do to pass.

So when it comes time to smog again in 2 years, then what? Save yourself the headache and do it right the first time..
California legal in an e30 = OBD1. Since an s52 is OBD2, you will either have to disguise it as an s50 and hope the inspection guy doesnt notice the extra 3 o2 sensors, or you can do a complete OBD1 conversion.
This includes OBD1 headers. They will check the angle at which the o2 sensor is mounted, so I highly recommend using OBD1 headers unless you want to have an entire exhaust welded up only to find out that it won't pass.
Remember, cali-legal 24v swap = +++Resale value. If you don't care about resale value or legality, ignore this post and get some ebay headers.
the motor is obd1 right now so that was taking car of. im pretty sure she isnt worried about getting it bared bc she had it smogged like a mouth ago
btw thank you for saying something that is actually helpful to this thread.
Who cares if this is a girl or a guy? We share the same interests, so to add something useful to this thread..
