Damn, was that from running a tire that was a larger OD on one side compared to the other? If those black wheels are 15's those are mighty low profile tires for an e30.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

^ yeah it is close to an inch difference from the stock spare size to the 205/50/15 in overall height so it was enough to overheat things after hundreds of miles. It sucks that happened, but I shouldn't have been risking it 380 miles from home without two complete wheels/tires to either drift on or get back on. You live and learn. I like the look of the 205/50/15's... but for my stretch I could use a little more sidewall.... plus I am looking for the cheap stuff to burn up. It'll be back on the road soon... can't wait to do it all over again.

Wow looks nice. Clear corners and black grill and it's just like my old car.

I also found the 949's bend easy...
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

I know it was way back in the thread/time, but what products/technique did you use to clean and paint your valve cover and intake manifold?

Looks really great - I've got lots of cosmoline stuck on mine.
