I disconnected power steering on one of my e30's and it's great.. under 5 mph you get a little extra exercise and over 5mph it feels great with more feedback from the road.

no power steering in philly is my daily work out. That being said I still rather enjoy it b.c of the feel. Def looking forward to what your car is like when swap is done!Comment

i went ahead and just deleted mine and put these bolts over the holes, i have no idea what itll feel like with my 24v swap. but im really not worried at all.Comment

yeah, when you disconnect the lines turn the wheel back and forth the get pretty much all of the fluid out. bam done.Comment

Advantages of PS-delete:- You don't have to worry about the inevitable leaks and whining sounds and deadspots which will happen even if you replace all the seals and lines.
- Better road feel.
- Increase in power and efficiency at every rpm albeit this is a small increase.
- Small decrease in weight.
- Cleaner, less cluttered engine bay.
- More manly
Disadvantages of PS-delete:- It's a little harder to turn the wheel when stopped or when going very very slow (less than 5mph)
