You join the pieces together with resin?
Backside of each cut has been completely reinforced with fiberglass and epoxy resin. It's nice and strong as original. I got really luck with the part number as my cut went directly through that, but it all lined up perfect and looks original still.

Just need to sand one more time, prime it black and then paint.

Everything lined up surprisingly well, couple more days and it should be close to ready for paint.

One piece at a time..inner parts reglassed, just need to finish up , going to get all pieces together then reglass if needed because a lot of resin gets waisted doing such small parts

Also some autox with the daily drivers.
Video of our day, had some go pro issues but it came out ok. https://youtu.be/orInwFGwzws

So might as well work on cosmetics for a few weeks. It technically free to do since I have all the supplies. First thing I'm doing is rebuilding the alpina. Should be easy but time consuming, just got to reassemble inner pieces than reglass it all together and paint it.

You can see how nice and thick alpina lays the fiberglass! There's a reason I've scraped it a hundred times and it's never even shown damage.
