Its re-booted as you know. I need to buy an 18v sawzall so when I go to Ecology to get a new-to-me left inner fender support, I can just hack it off including the frame and take my time and care with it removing spotwelds back at home. There aren't enough batteries in the world to complete that job in the junkyard.

I keep thinking about diving into the m30, but I really get sidetracked easily so I want to focus on one thing at a time.

When I went to Ecology to cut rear apron off a 89 e30. I took two 18v batteries and sawzall. It barely made it on the second 18v battery.

You could do both at the same time. If it was me I would do the e30 body work first.

Yeah, I am going to stick to the bodywork first. After the innards are fixed up front, I need bumpers and front valence. Previous previous owner also cut a notch out for the tow hitch in the rear so I may be doing a rear apron too.

My buddy Frank showed up this week to help me with the m30 head. We both put on the cometic head gasket and torque down the ARP head bolts.
Now just need to bolt up the oil pan.

In a week or two I will be ordering a Spec clutch kit.

I might be selling my rear Alpina mud flaps. They are brand new never installed.

Today received my stage 5 Spec Clutch kit. I was told it can hold 634 pounds torque. We will see about that!;D

Kicking Ass in Fallbrook should be easy pickings. Though, there are probably a fair sum of drag cars around.
