...Second one was a custom e21. It was called the Alpina 345i Turbo....

I think I may have seen this at the SoCal Vintage show last year. I dont have any pics of the engine in my photobucket right now, but it was the turbo M30

It looks like my old car. They changed the wheels on the 345i.

Mike Dietel wanted to use US big bumpers to market his wide body kit. It was a original 1982 323i e21.

That is the fuel injector.

Oh wow. I can't picture in my mind where the injector resides in relation to the intake port.

It is mechanical injection and there is just a nozzle at the end of the tube at that cross bar in the venturi and sprays down the throat above the throttle plate.

They do the same with electronic injection as well, you can search for stand off injection and should find examples.

I did a little work on it lately. Today Frank and I were checking out the Alpina intakes. Just wanted to compare the differences. I am going to try both them out. Once the car is running.
I also pulled out my my Alpina vent gauge censers out to check them out. The one with the rubber boot on the left is the oil pressure the came with the Alpina vent gauge. The ones on the right I bought over the years. I am going to order oil cooler housing for a e34 m5 and a BMP design cap. It will allow me to use more than one censers.

I installed a KN air filter on my m30 valve cover.

Slow progress Brandon.

I thought I was done on the shift linkage. I had to order bushings and clips. I also got a new slave cylinder and rubber line. I finally can say installed.
